A crash involving an electric scooter closed down 56th Avenue near 200th Street in Langley City on Wednesday, July 12.
The crash took place around noon, just east of 200th Street, and involved a car and an electric scooter styled to resemble a motorcycle.
Langley City firefighters were on scene tending to one man, the scooter rider, who was lying in the street after the collision.
The rider appeared conscious.
Langley RCMP were on scene as well, confirmed Cpl. Craig Van Herk, spokesperson for the local detachment.
