Emergency crews blocked off Douglas Crescent between 203rd Street and 204th Street for a crash near the Timms Community Centre Wednesday morning.

Langley RCMP Cpl. Holly Largy said a pedestrian was struck around 7:41 a.m.

One person was taken away in an ambulance just after 8 a.m. with non-life-threatening injuries.

“The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is speaking to investigators,” she said.

The eastbound lanes were opened shortly after as Langley City Fire Rescue and the RCMP finished their work at the scene. The Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service may be brought in on the incident.

“Traffic members on their way to determine if ICARS will be called,” Largy said.
