Langley RCMP officers were called to the scene of a reported boat crash near Derby Reach Park in Langley Saturday, March 16 around 5 p.m.
Local residents told Langley Advance Times it appeared a single boat with a single operator hit the Fraser River’s southern bank around 5 p.m.
Multiple police vehicles could be seen next to the river bank near a farm in the 21500 block of Allard Crescent.
Witnesses reported seeing ambulances on the scene.
