Holiday shoppers lined up outside the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre to attend the first annual Artisan’s Christmas Craft Fair on Saturday.
According to organizer Frances Callaghan, more than 3,000 people came out to the event on Nov. 2, which featured 165 vendors from around British Columbia. Craft fairs like this one encourage people to buy local, she said.
“It shows how strong the economy is here in Penticton. It helps the small businesses grow,” she added.
