Two people were injured in a crash near Bear Creek campground Sunday evening (June 2).
According to deputy fire chief Mike Van Laerhoven, the Agassiz Fire Department was called out to a crash on the Harrison Forest Service Road near Bear Creek campground around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Van Laerhoven said a vehicle had left the road and rolled down an embankment as a result of the crash. Fire crews worked with BC Ambulance and the RCMP to secure the scene and deal with the overturned vehicle.
Both of the people in the vehicle were taken to hospital by helicopter.
