Abbotsford mayoral hopefuls battled it out at the all-candidates meeting in anticipation of the municipal election on Oct. 20.

On Thursday, the 18 council candidates will take part in an event in the upstairs of the Ag Rec Building Gallery, at Exhibition Park. After a short candidate introduction, audience members “will have a ‘meet-up’ opportunity with all candidates to ask questions and get to know each “on a more personal level,” according to a press release. The event begins at 7 p.m.
