A vigil is being held to remember the victims of the attack on an Islamic centre in Quebec City on Sunday.
The United Church and Revelstoke for Refugees are organizing the vigil, which will take place in Grizzly Plaza on Sunday, Feb.5, at 7 p.m.
They are asking people to “light a candle for love and peace.”
Six people were killed and many others were injured in the attack on the Centre Culturel Islamique de Quebec in Ste-Foy on Sunday, Jan. 29.
Alexandre Bissonnette, 27, has been arrested and charged with six counts of first degree murder and five counts of attempted murder.
Vigils have been held in communities across the country to show solidarity with the victims of the attack, who were all Muslim.
