Locals woke to white stuff on their lawns this morning

City of Quesnel and surrounding area residents woke to a picturesque dusting of snow, with temperatures of -2 degrees Celsius.

It seems winter may have finally arrived in the Cariboo, after mild temperatures over the last few weeks and plenty of rain.

Environment Canada is predicting more light snow today (Nov. 6), with an overnight low of -10.

Tomorrow will see sunny skies but zero degree temperatures, and snow is set to continue throughout Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week, including more flakes falling overnight Thursday and Friday.
