A boil water order issued earlier this week for Chemainus residents has been cancelled.
The order had advised that turbidity in the water posed a risk to public health.
Residents were advised to boil their water for at least a full minute before using it for cooking, drinking or brushing their teeth, though bathing and washing clothes with unboiled water was still fine.
"The water is now safe to drink and use for all purposes," the cancellation notice read Wednesday afternoon.
