Two vehicles in the ditch

On March 1, 100 Mile RCMP responded to two-vehicle incident on Canim Hendrix-Lake Road near Gateway between 8 and 8:30 a.m.

The driver of the first vehicle, a Ford Explorer, lost control on the road surface and slid backwards into the ditch.

British Columbia Ambulance Service personnel examined the three occupants of the vehicle at the scene, and they were not injured.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.

While returning from the first collision, police observed another vehicle lose control and slide off the road.

The lone female occupant was removed from the vehicle by 100 Mile House Fire-Rescue members, but was not injured. This vehicle was also towed from the accident scene.

Drive cautiously

100 Mile RCMP is issuing a warning to drivers, as winter driving conditions still exist in the Cariboo.
