Season 32 has finished with players who competed from the beginning of October to Dec. 11 gaining the following point positions:
Shirly Wheelhouse 5650; Goldie Krawec 5600; Mike Fraser 5400; Cheryl MacHale 5250; Rory Vaughan 5200; Terri Searls 4900; Carol Fraser 4800; Laurie Marsh 4575; Millie Rempel 3925.
A total of 20 different players competed during the season.
The best hands of the season were: Royal Flush, Four of a Kind (Quads) 9s, Full Houses consisting of Ace over King (twice), King over Queen, Jack over King, Ace over 10, Ace over 9, Ace over 7, Ace over 3.

Players may also win a 100 extra points each evening by having the best hand of the evening, being the bounty winner by taking out the winner of the previous week, and by playing the worst poker hand ever, a 7/2 (seven/deuce).
During the past season, many players tried and a total of 10 times the hand won them extra points. Three evenings two players each won with the hand, and on three evenings no player won.
Winners of the tournament held on Dec. 18 are: first Laurie Marsh, second Cheryl MacHale and third Rory Vaughan. The best hand of the tournament was a Full House consisting of 10s over 4s, best hand at the fun table was Quad 9s.
The next season began on Jan. 1, 2020. We start play at 7 p.m. each Wednesday evening at The Wells Gray Inn.
