Sooke RCMP announced that West Coast Road reopened around 7 p.m. on Tuesday after a section of the road was closed for most of the afternoon as crews responded to a “serious incident.”
Just before 2:30 p.m. on March 13, Sooke RCMP tweeted that West Coast Road was closed to traffic between Grant Road West and Otter Point Road as emergency services were on scene and front line members were investigating the incident.
Sooke RCMP would like to thank everyone for their patience and cooperation today with the closure of West Coast Road. Emergency vehicles have cleared and the road is now open.
