A wheelchair accessible pathway for the park has been in the works for several years. Doug Reeve, project coordinator, said the pathway will improve access to park amenities for all users.
The layout of the pathway was completed by Ecora Engineering.
The regional district received eight submissions for the work, ranging in price from $71,870 to $97,050.
Funding for the project will come from the 2021 Area E Parks and Recreation budget.
