Williams Lake RCMP have charged two adults with firearms offences after seizing two loaded firearms from a seized vehicle.
Insp. Jeff Pelley of the Williams Lake RCMP said on Friday, Jan. 4 the Williams Lake General Investigation Section and North District Major Crime Unit executed a search warrant on a vehicle that was seized during an ongoing investigation. The search resulted in two loaded firearms being seized and charges recommended under the Criminal Code against two individuals.
“A local resident identified as, Luaine April Stump, is currently charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition for a dangerous purpose for committing an offence, occupying a vehicle knowing there were firearms and ammunition in the vehicle and failure to comply with probation. Luaine Stump remains in custody and will appear in court on (Tuesday) Jan. 8th, 2018 in Williams Lake.”

Wyatt Lee Boffa is currently outstanding on an arrest warrant for possession of firearms and ammunition for a purpose dangerous to the public peace and did occupy a vehicle knowing there were firearms and ammunition in the vehicle.
Pelley said requesting should a member of the public observe Wyatt Boffa, to dial 911 immediately and not approach him.
