Abbotsford’s tallest structure was among the structures damaged by today’s winds.

Multiple glass “privacy panels” near the top of the Mahogany at Mill Lake high-rise on Bevan Avenue were damaged. The broken glass, though, did not come off the decks, according to the builder’s developer, Diane Delves.

But Delves added in an email “five glass railing panels at the edge of the roof deck blew out and came off the building.”

She said the building’s railing contractor is looking into the situation. The tower has been under construction for more than a year, and residents are slated to move in within weeks.
