Winds strong enough to cause damage are expected in Terrace Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
Environment Canada has placed Terrace under a wind warning, as a low pressure system approaches the North Coast and starts to move inland tonight. The temperature is expected to remain steady around five degrees Celsius.
The southwesterly winds have the potential to peak at speeds of 70 kilometres per hour before diminishing to 30 to 50 kilometres per hour late Thursday morning.
