Firefighters had to use the “jaws of life” to rescue a victim of a head-on collision near Campbell Valley Park in Langley Saturday morning.
Around 11 a.m. Langley crews responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident with a person trapped on 16 Avenue between 200 and 208 Streets in South Langley.
Crews arrived to find two vehicles had collided head-on in the S-curve in the 20500 block of 16 Avenue through Campbell Valley Regional Park.
Firefighters used the jaws of life to remove a victim from the sedan.
At least two were transported to hospital, one with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
16 Avenue was closed for several hours for cleanup.
It was raining heavily at the time of the crash.
