One of two people aboard a sailboat died when it ran aground on rocks Monday afternoon between Royston and Union Bay, according to a media report.
A man and a woman were reportedly brought to St. Joseph’s General Hospital in Comox. She died,
although the man was reported to be in stable condition.
A Cormorant rescue helicopter from CFB Comox kept searching until it was determined that only two people had been aboard.
