  • Sep. 14, 2018 12:00 a.m.

RCMP said an altercation inside a vehicle led to a woman falling out of it and on to Skaha Lake Road on Friday afternoon.

The woman was in a van, that was in the left hand turning lane at Main Street and Kinney Avenue, and was laying in the lane adjacent when emergency responders arrived. She was conscious and speaking, but still laying on the ground, when the Western News arrived on the scene.

Const. James Grandy said it is not clear yet if the woman was pushed out of the vehicle or jumped out at this time. He also said there was also a “medical emergency” during the incident but would not go into further detail.

RCMP were seen speaking to several witnesses in the area and said they are still investigating the incident so could not provide any further information.

Traffic was still flowing through the intersection, using the other lanes.
