The SPCA will always need people to make a career out of helping animals, and a two-day camp this week will give children a glimpse of what that would be like.
The B.C. SPCA is holding a career prep workshop for children and teens this Thursday and Friday, Jan. 2-3.
“Participants will learn about career opportunities at the B.C. SPCA, animal care duties and our shelter animals, through fun activities, games and crafts during this two-day mini workshop,” notes the SPCA website.
Children and teens born from 2004-2007 can register for the workship, which is from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. both days. Cost is $60.
