Police believe that speed was a factor in an early morning motor vehicle accident that claimed the life of one young woman and injured three men.
The accident occurred in Mission at approximately 1 a.m. Saturday (March 6) on Burma Road.
Mission RCMP said the driver appears to have missed a turn and hit a tree. The woman who died was reportedly in the back seat of the 1991 Nissan Sentra.
The three male passengers were all taken to hospital, one with serous injuries.
The road conditions were wet and muddy at the time of the incident. Alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the crash.
No names have been released at this time.
