Good morning! It was a mostly cloudy start to the day at 10 C as of 7 a.m., and the Environment Canada weather service tells us we’ve got 86 per cent humidity and 23 km/h winds from the south-southwest.
Today, we can expect to see showers in the morning, and cloudy during the day, with a 40 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon with gusty winds and a high of 12. Overnight, it’s partly cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers.
And then, if you recall the good weather news from yesterday – well, it just got expedited. Instead of a bit of sun over the late weekend, we can now expect to see a mix of sun and cloud tomorrow and Saturday, with highs of 10 and 9 C and lows of 3 and 2 C, before getting to clear skies Sunday and Monday, with highs of 9 and 7 C.
Overnight Sunday, we’ll see a dip into the negatives, at – 1 C, and overnight Monday, the clouds are expected to start rolling in again, with a 30 per cent chance of showers and a low of 2 C.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, we’re looking at clouds and a 60 per cent chance of showers, with highs of 7 and 8 C.
Currently, visibility is 24 kilometres.
On clear roads and driving at the speed limit, a drive from the Abbotsford News building to Downtown Vancouver would take 50 minutes.
Today, your daily commute time as of 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2018 is one hour 31 minutes, with pretty breezy commute along Highway 1 in Langley, before hitting a section of major congestion in Surrey and more past the Port Mann Bridge.
