Good morning! It was a little wet to start the day at 4 C as of 7 a.m., and the Environment Canada weather service tells us we’ve got 78 per cent humidity and 22 km/h winds from the north-northeast.
After a few of days with a bit of sunshine, we’re back into the dreary weather. Today, we’re looking at a high of 7 C with 5 mm of rain beginning in the late morning, before dropping to 5 C overnight with 10-20 mm of rain.
The next couple days are looking like much the same, as well – rain or periods of rain with highs of 9 and 8 C and lows of 5 C.
In the late weekend and early into next week, we could see a bit of sun mixed with the clouds, with a chance of showers throughout, before getting back into the clouds for Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs ranging from 5-8 C and lows of 1-3 C
Currently, visibility is 16 kilometres.
On clear roads and driving at the speed limit, a drive from the Abbotsford News building to Downtown Vancouver would take 50 minutes.
Today, your daily commute time as of 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2018 is one hour 36 minutes, with heavy congestion on Highway 1 around Clearbrook Road in Abbotsford, due to a multi-vehicle collision, according to AM 730 Traffic.

You may also see some residual congestion in Burnaby as a police incident has cleared up, as well as in Coquitlam near the Brunette exit due to a crash.
