Good morning! It was a mostly cloudy start to the day at 1 C as of 7 a.m., and the Environment Canada weather service tells us we’ve got 92 per cent humidity and 4 km/h winds from the northeast.
After a couple of days with a bit of sunshine, we’re back into the dreary weather. Today, we’re looking at a high of 4 C with 5 to 10 mm of rain beginning in the late morning. Overnight, we’ve got a low of 3 C, with rain, at times heavy, amounting to 30 to 40 mm.
After that, we’ve got a week of effectively the same – highs ranging from 4 C to 9 C and lows from 2 to 6 C, and rain or periods of rain throughout.
Currently, visibility is 24 kilometres.
On clear roads and driving at the speed limit, a drive from the Abbotsford News building to Downtown Vancouver would take 50 minutes.
Today, your daily commute time as of 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018 is one hour seven minutes, with pretty breezy commute along Highway 1. Only minor congestion past the Port Mann Bridge at this time.
