Good morning! It was a sunny start to the day at 6 C as of 7 a.m., and the Environment Canada weather service tells us we’ve got 61 per cent humidity and 3 km/h winds from the north-northwest.
Today, we can expect to see more clear skies with a high of 23 C before dropping to a low of 8 C overnight. If the temperature does, in fact, reach 23 C, as it did yesterday, that will beat a nearly 50-year-old record for this day, with March 19, 1960 setting the previous record at 20 C. Similarly, yesterday’s high of 23 C hit well above the previous March 18 record of 19.2 C, set in 1996. Records go back as far as 1945.
Tomorrow’s expected to potentially crack another temperature record, again, with a high of 22 C, compared with the March 20 record of 22.2 C, before dropping down to a low of 9 C overnight, with clear skies throughout.
Environment CanadaAfter that, highs are expected to drop below the 20 C mark, down to 18 C on Thursday and as low as13 C on Saturday, before rising back up to 18 C on Monday. Clouds start to roll in on Friday, with rain on Saturday and more clouds on Sunday, before getting back to the sun on Monday.
Currently, visibility is 48 kilometres.
