Good morning! It was a mainly clear start to the day at 6 C as of 7 a.m., and the Environment Canada weather service tells us we’ve got 76 per cent humidity and 6 km/h winds from the west-northwest.
After three straight days of record-breaking highs, we could set one more new record, this one set on March 21, 1992 with a high of 19.7 C.
Today, we can expect to see mainly sunny skies, reaching up to 20 C before dropping down to 5 C and partly cloudy overnight. And thus ends our warm, sunny stretch, although Environment Canada isn’t anticipating we’ll be seeing highs dip into the single digits again anytime soon. Over the next week, the forecast shows fairly consistent temperatures, hovering between 14 and 16 C highs and 5 to 7 C lows.
Environment CanadaDuring that time, we’re to expect clouds rolling in with showers on Saturday and a mix of sun and clouds Sunday and Monday, before getting into a cloudy mid-week with a chance of showers.
Normals for this time of year, according to Environment Canada is highs of 11 C and lows of 4 C, so we’re still a bit above seasonal.
