Fog clearing with a chance of showers today and congestion in Abbotsford, Langley and at the Port Mann

Good morning! It was a foggy start to the day at 5 C as of 7 a.m., and the Environment Canada weather service tells us we’ve got 100 per cent humidity and 4 km/h winds from the north-northwest.

We’ll likely see a bit of precipitation today, with Environment Canada forecasting a 60 per cent chance of showers during the day and periods of rain overnight, with a high of 10 C and a low of 5. Tomorrow, we’re looking at much the same – high of 9 C and a low of 6, with periods of rain through the day and a 60 per cent chance of showers overnight.

Friday is looking like our last dreary day for a little bit, with a 60 per cent chance of showers and a high of 7 C, before heading into an overnight with a low of 2 C and cloudy periods. After that, the sun’s starting to poke through, mixing with clouds with a high of 6 C Saturday and a low overnight of -1 C and clear skies.

Then we’ve got a three-day stretch of clear skies, with highs of 5-6 C and lows dropping from -1 C to -5 C.

Currently, visibility is 16 kilometres.

On clear roads and driving at the speed limit, a drive from the Abbotsford News building to Downtown Vancouver would take 50 minutes.
