In Loving Memory ~
Jim passed away at Nanaimo General Hospital, November 3rd with his daughter by his side.
Survived and sadly missed by daughter; Tiffiny Dobson, Son-in-law; Mark Carter, and family; Carol Dobson. Also remembered by others close to him; Correna Jones and Jean Murphy.
Predeceased by father; Chester Dobson, mother; Shirley Welsh, and sister; Karen Kingsley.
A successful and long tenured hotelier, Jim’s career took him all over Vancouver Island, other parts of B.C. and to one of his favourite posts Dawson City, Yukon.
He travelled the globe over many decades and had a repertoire of stories about his adventures.
He was an avid reader, a talented poet, a huge sports fan and had an endlessly inquisitive mind.
He was fascinated with the world, the cosmos and always said “He could never be bored”.
Forever in our corner, forever in our hearts, he will be greatly missed.Obituary-
