In Loving Memory ~
Our cherished mom passed away at her home, surrounded by family, friends and love that she and Ted created
Lil was born in Oshawa, Ontario and moved to Vancouver at an early age. She was an only child who had decided she wanted a large family.
Ted and Lil married and lived in Richmond until 1965 when the family relocated to Vernon to raise their children and make lasting memories on their hobby farm.
Mom was the Queen Bee while raising 5 children. The family was extended when David and Cynthia joined us to make 7.
Lil’s lifelong love of gardening was her passion and serenity which has been handed down to all her children. She was a Mother to many who held her dear to their hearts.
Lil was predeceased by her Husband Ted, Daughter Carol, Grandson Bradley and Foster Daughter Cynthia.
She is survived by her children Kathy (Fred) Jacquie, Cindy (Mike), Jay and David.
Grandchildren Kevin (Chelan), Wes, Amanda (Curtis), Brock (Cody).
Great-grandchildren Greg, Justin, Matthew, Phoenix, Cole, Lily, Layla, Mason, Silas and Logan.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the Caregivers of Interior Health, as well as our friends that lovingly contributed to Mom’s care and comfort.
Diamond Lil was and always will be a shining light. She left a great life map for everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Mom will be missed dearly and forever in our hearts.
A Life Celebration will be held for Ted and Lil in the early Spring
In lieu of flowers, please consider a random act of kindness to honor Lil’s legacy.Obituary-
