In Loving Memory ~
It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Mother, Liz Ewart, in Campbell River B.C.
Predeceased by her husband Bill Ewart.
Mom was born and raised in Vancouver, spending summers at Roberts Creek where she met Dad. They married in 1954, had four children and decided to move to the wilds of Campbell River in 1963. It was a decision that we are so glad they made.
Family was first and foremost for Mom, rarely missing a swim meet, soccer or ball game, recital or art show. Her support and presence was instilled in our family as something to live up to.
A wise and selfless woman whose compassion and kindness for others came naturally and with ease.
Liz had many dear friends and the Ladies enjoyed golf, cards, tea and lunches which she frequently hosted. Mom was a lover of all animals, and her walks to the beach with her dogs were cherished. She was a gifted artist and wood finisher, and helped Dad create wonderful gifts for the kids.
Over the years, Mom and Dad sailed the Salish sea, travelled across Canada in a small RV, and spent precious time with family and friends at home near the ocean.
She will be deeply missed by her children, Gordon (Arlene), Tim (Debbie), David (Debbie), Vickie (Glen), 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, all of whom love her so very much.
Our Family would like to thank the Staff at Evergreen Seniors Home in Campbell River for their dedicated care of Liz, who loved them all.
