In loving memory ~
I am sadly sharing the passing of my mom Andrea (Dea) Kern on November 26, 2023. She was born March 31, 1938, in St. Paul, Alberta and lived in Qualicum Beach, BC for 44 years. She leaves behind the love of her life of 52 years Arthur (Chum) Kern. She will be truly missed by her daughter Anita, sons Jeff and Trevor, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dea was a world traveller, avid golfer, devoted member of the Catholic Church in Parksville, a proud Red Hatter and dinner hostess extraordinaire. If you knew my mom she had style, grace and a sense of fashion like no other. An incredible strong-willed woman, tough with a fierce but gentle love for family and friends.
