It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Marie Dedish after a short illness. Born in Leoville, SK and resided in Vernon, BC over the last several years. Predeceased by her husband, Ihor or Hank (2011) as he was affectionately called, and by son Steven (1978). Marie is survived by her daughter Petulla (Andrew Grieve) and grandchildren Alexandra, Angus and Adam, and sisters Emily and Jean. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on December 28, 2023, at St. James Catholic Church (2607 27th St, Vernon, BC) with Father Peter Nguyen officiating. A small burial at Lakeview Memorial Gardens (2850 Dry Valley Rd, Kelowna, BC) will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 1, 2023. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Condolences can be forwarded to the family online at Pleasant Valley Funeral Home.
