Pamela Judith Quiring (nee Ross)

September 3, 1944 – November 16, 2023
In loving memory ~
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mom, Grammie and Great Grandma in the presence of family at Langley Memorial Hospital.
Predeceased by her husband Bob only a few weeks ago, they will be together again on their 61st anniversary. Pam is survived by daughter Tami (Scott), son Allan (Nancy), grandchildren Amy (Josh), Michael (Hayley), Carrington (Sarah) and Lucas, great-grandson Tanner, in-laws Barb, Dick, Ed, Bill and Debbie along with several cousins, nieces and nephews. Pam also leaves behind a litany of close and long-time friends who, like her family, thought the world of her and are going to miss her immensely.
We will all remember her for her kindness and support for school, sports and community events. She loved to use her creative talents in supplying baked treats and handicrafts for fundraisers, sewing costumes for school plays and Hallowe’en as well as helping to organize sports days and family fun nights. Pam had a passion for reading, teddy bears and learning something new. She also had an uncanny talent for hearing the cookie jar open from anywhere in the house, no matter how quiet we thought we were.
As per Pam’s wishes, there will not be a service at this time but a gathering may be planned in 2024 for those who knew our parents. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Pam’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC & Yukon, the Langley Memorial Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice. Thank you to her doctors and the nurses at LMH for your caring and kindness in Pam’s final days. Obituary-
