Sheila (nee Hare) passed away in Cairnsmore Place, Duncan, at the age of 88. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Gordie in 2019, and daughter Susan in 2018.
Sheila was born in Alberta and cherished her younger years growing up on a farm near Eckville until moving to Sylvan Lake as a teenager. She got married and started a family in Edmonton and then moved to Vancouver Island, where she lived for the past 55 years. Sheila worked for many years at the Duncan Post Office and then enjoyed extensive travelling in her retirement years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Barbara (Kevin), son Dale (Tracey), sister Julia, and her 5 granddaughters and son-in-law Ernie.
The family will celebrate her life at a later date.
