In loving memory ~
It’s with deep regret and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Teresa (Tree) Julie Ewert (41).
Tree passed away peacefully and pain-free shortly after 1 pm on Saturday, November 11, 2023, after a hard-fought battle with cancer, she was diagnosed July 3, 2022, and underwent radiation and continuous bimonthly treatment of chemotherapy. She was surrounded by her husband Ryan (41), children Emrickka Faith (18), Mallory Chayse (15), Quinn Marie (12), parents Norm & Rachel Rempel, Harold & Sylvia Ewert, and close family friends Will & Jenna Plenert.
Tree had a kind and caring heart and was loved by the many people who knew her. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Friend.
Tree always wanted what was best for her family and would let nothing come between her and us as a family.
Tree will be greatly missed. Gone but never forgotten.
Donations can be made in her memory/honour, please make donations out to the Oncology department at Shuswap Hospital Foundation – and indicate ‘In Memory of Teresa Ewert’.
The nurses Iris, MJ, Meghan and team made the journey enjoyable, and ensured Tree was part of their family. It made Tree’s week to go see the team. The care and attention she received was always far above and beyond normal standards. For that I can’t thank you enough. If you would like to attend Tree’s Celebration of Life, it will be held on Monday November 27th, 11 am at Garden Park Tower, 2825 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, BC.
