In Loving Memory ~
It is with great sadness that the family of Vivian Elgie (71) announce her passing on November 11, 2023.
Vivian and her husband enjoyed gun and motorcycle shows. She was the only female stock car racer at Tillicum Raceways. Vivian’s hobbies were genealogy and planning family reunions. She also worked with the historians who co-authored the book Vernon Internment Camp and the biography of her parents.
As a child she spent a lot of time at the Mable Lake Family Cabin with the Johnson and Bickert families!
Vivian is fondly remembered by (husband) Rod Elgie, (son) Will Elgie, (granddaughter) Aurora.
Predeceased Vivian’s parents Ted Bazell and Gertie Bazell.
She is survived by her (brother) Ron & Anne Bazell, (sister) Ruth & George Gibbard, (brother) Jim & Carol Bazell. And her many nieces and nephews!
