Abbotsford does know how to celebrate

Mr. Neville concludes that “Abbotsford should find every excuse it can to hold community celebrations.”

He backs it up with the celebrations other cities hold, and that there is no laughter in Abbotsford.

My questions are: Is it really true that Abbotsford does not celebrate? Is it really true that Abbotsford is out of step with the times, just because there are allegedly no community celebrations?

It is true that Halloween is a time for celebration?

Abbotsford’s being in step with the times cannot be measured by its form of celebrating.

I think Abbotsford does know how to celebrate, just not on the streets. Abbotsford allows all kinds of cultures and ethnicities to celebrate in their own way.

Being out of step with the times will definitely not be shown by forms of celebrating, but by adopting new ways. And not celebrating in the streets might be just one way to be in step with the times.

And Halloween is definitely not the only time of year that people can celebrate. But it sure is a time of year when many people from different backgrounds and beliefs do go out and celebrate on the streets and from door-to-door.
