Surprise! Surprise! My car insurance is up for renewal and my reminder from ICBC this morning urges me not to leave it to the last minute. I guess the war chest needs to be topped up, ready for the government to dip in their fingers.
What shocked me was the “AirCare needed” message. I had thought that AirCare had died a natural death. After all, the newer vehicles are so much more technically “clean” and my car is only seven years old and maintained to the hilt.
I will drive less and avoid the tolled bridges but by golly, I still need a car and now it is seven years old it will cost me $45 this year and every two years to keep it under my roof.
On the other hand, with all of the new “fleece the public” ideas coming out of the TransLink board
I suppose I should be thankful my wallet will only be $45 lighter this year – or at least, so far.
