The Vanderhoof Aquatic Centre opened Jan. 26.
Over 100 people came for the inauguration where Mayor Gerry Thiessen thanked the community and sponsors for their support.
Right after the ceremony, 50 people got to take the first dip into the pool.
Beginning Jan 30, the hours of operation as listed by the YMCA of Northern BC website are: Wednesday – 3 pm to 8 pm; Thursday – 6 am to 12 pm; Friday – 3 pm to 8 pm; Saturday – 10 am to 6 pm; Sunday – 12 pm to 5 pm.
