I am appalled that a resident would get out of his vehicle to assault a panhandler.
The street people are in dire straits as they are usually homeless, are addicted with drugs or alcohol and have emotional problems. I have the privilege of working at a soup kitchen every Saturday for four hours and interact with the less fortunate. Most have interesting stories and wish they were not in their circumstance. It is easier to give them a toonie or a hug than to assault them, which I find is ridiculous.
This person is a coward and needs help himself and I’m sure the law will take care of him.
