To the editor;
In regard to Tom Fletcher’s drivel on the HST published in the Sept. 12 issue of the Star/Journal, he said the deficit forecast for the current year nearly tripled. It seems strange when they are still collecting the HST, and state it will take 18 months to cancel it. Something does not add up. Why is there such a change in the deficit when nothing has changed yet? According to Fletcher, Falcon said the average working stiff can not expect significant increases in wages however the bureaucrats all receive large increases to their already large salaries. No wonder people lose faith in politicians.
