B.C. needs do-over vote

I would prefer that the B.C. government actually be elected by the people

To the editor,

If John Horgan and Andrew Weaver want to form a government in order to introduce a lengthy wish list of significant changes to British Columbia, I would prefer that said government actually be elected by the people. Since neither of their parties can form a government, they instead seem willing to obtain power through backroom agreements with each other and may have already forgotten that it is the people who grant politicians power, not the politicians themselves.

Should (when?) the Greens and NDP collude to topple the recently elected Liberal minority government, I would hope the lieutenant-governor calls an election and not allow the pretenders to power to obtain power without actually earning it.
