BEEF To city and police. Either actively monitor a school zone for reckless speeders and hold people accountable for their actions, or take it away. Make up your mind. Vehicles going up Metral Avenue at 60-80 km/h is unacceptable.
BOUQUET To the staff and guest artists at Black and Blue Tattoo for their recent Tats for Tots event where they raised more than $11,000 for B.C. Children’s Hospital.
BEEF To people who talk on their mobile phone in public places like the library or on the ferry, and then turn on the speaker so everyone can hear your conversation. Get some manners and acknowledge how your rudeness affects those around you.

BEEF To politicians who don’t address the problem of buses on Hammond Bay Road. We need pull-offs for buses that keep tying up car traffic, causing long lineups of aggravated drivers.

BEEF To the strata management who left us in the cold apartment for weeks. Solution of theirs is to dress warm inside in our apartment. Shame on them.

BEEF To those customers who whine and complain about self checkouts, if you prefer not to have that be your future, may I suggest being kinder to your cashiers and customer service personnel. They are doing the best they can, whether or not they are ‘slow’ during a busy time.

BEEF To the city for leaving mountains of snow around bus stops. I have a hard time getting in the bus when it is like that.
BOUQUET To Luke from Home Appliance Services after a panic call to him about our fridge not working. No repair – fridge was turned off. He didn’t want payment until he was sure fridge was working and came back days later to make sure.
BOUQUET To Country Grocer at Southgate mall. You are all very friendly, professional and helpful. Please ask the purchaser to bring in hot and spicy ketchup.
