Advocating a motorized boat ban on Kalamalka Lake is akin to calling for a shutdown of roads because some motorists choose to ignore the rules.
Noise level, speed near shoreline and no wake zone, regulate and enforce. If we (Coldstream, Vernon, Okanagan Indian Band, etc.) must pay for our own lake police, so be it.
Okanagan Lake is also a drinking water source worthy of protection.
