Campbell Valley Park is ‘a jewel in the crown’

The park is a real gift of nature, and a jewel in the crown of the Metro Vancouver parks system.

Campbell Valley Regional Park is truly a gift of nature — a jewel in the crown of the Metro Vancouver parks system.  It is a place of tranquility and peace, where on a summer’s morning the woods and wetlands are filled with bird song.

Here you can still stroll along the trails and marvel at the wonderful diversity of trees, wildflowers, mushrooms, and more.  You can enjoy some time in the wildlife garden near the park’s nature house, where you can watch for butterflies, bees and other fabulous insects.

As a keen naturalist, I’ve had the pleasure to visit many wonderful natural areas in our province, but few can compare to the pastoral qualities of Campbell Valley Regional Park.  Let us strive to keep it peaceful.
