My husband and family were posted with the military to Germany in 1960. During our duration there, we travelled extensively. We met a Dutch family during a camping trip and over the years a strong relationship developed, corresponding and visiting many times between Holland and Germany and later Holland and Canada.
Last week, I received a letter from Holland – the envelope reflected my name, Langley, BC, the postal code, and Canada. – no street address at all. I thought it was an Easter card. You can imagine my surprise to see a Christmas card. Canada Post took the time to track my address and deliver the long-overdue letter. Thank you for going the extra mile.
