Some letter writers to The NEWS have shared with us the list of potential health issues related to cell tower radiation. One reader sent in the following list: causes all kinds of illnesses, neurological disorders, early dementia, cancer, tumours, memory loss, pain, headaches, anxiety, insomnia, infertility, weight gain, thyroid disorders, personality changes and countless other problems.
Here’s another list: reduced resistance to common illnesses (colds, bronchitis, etc.), suppression of the immune system, growth disorders, increase of abnormally structured cells in the body, reduction of male sex hormones, rapid destruction of lung fibres and lesions (injuries) to the brain could be permanent, reduced sexual capacity, reduced ability to learn and retain information, apathy, drowsiness, lack of motivation, personality and mood changes, changes in the brain, possible psychosis, disrupts nerve cells in the brain affecting memory.
The second list is all the possible negative effects of the regular use of marijuana and I am sure many of these symptoms could equally be attributed to alcohol, pollution, depression, mental health issues, and sometimes life in general.
What I’m wondering is, there seems to be a lot of it going around, so how are we to know what’s causing it?
