To the Editor,
I would like to know where all the people with some of these hare-brained ideas come from – convention centre, cruise ship dock, bridge to Newcastle Island and a power generator in Dodd Narrows.
If the city wanted to draw tourists, it could have dropped the convention centre and the cruise ship dock, then used that money to buy the Cable Bay land and make a world class park out of it.
I have met people from many countries there and they thought the whole place was a park. They all thought it was a shame that it was going to be a subdivision.
