Climate change not the most important election issue
I have read through the positions of the candidates in this upcoming election. While some of them have great ideas and aspirations I have a question about climate change.
How can climate change be the most important issue in this election? These people are not being real. How does climate change affect a family struggling to make ends meet because of job layoffs? What about people who have medical issues — do they really care about climate change. What about homelessness and increase in mental illness in our part of the country; are the homeless and infirm concerned with climate change?
The candidates need to focus on the most pressing matters. How is each party going to address these matters? What solution are they bringing to the table to reduce homelessness, increase opportunity for jobs, create a better health care system, deal with the issues of seniors in care etc.
