To the editor:
This is a letter to the person who left their campfire burning at Weller Lake.
I found your campfire still burning at noon on June 2, with the ashes still too hot to touch and the embers of a log glowing in gusts of wind.
It was a close call.
I left a bucket there to extinguish the campfire next time.
